Mission:
And that's a wrap! We went to Briganti in South Pas and I am full and a bit drunk and very pleased with this little experience! Now to figure out the best way to get home later...

Del Mar:
God we are getting good at this! We stopped at Del Mar and the obvious choice would be La Grande Orange (which is wonderful) but Rosalie had the idea to walk across the street to Congregation (which I've never been to but once I saw recognized as what I had thought was a church!). Turns out congregration is a super fun beer bar!! We had a wonderful time chatting up our bar tenders and letting them know our plan for the evening - they were totally impressed! (or was it the alcohol settling in?)

Love it!

Beer chilling pads at every spot at the bar!!!! Genius...

#4?...

Counting up this far has gotten hard...

Memorial Park:
Not much to say here - its even closer than I normally think to Old Town Pasadena! We went to Quadruple which Rosalie had never been to. Got a couple of beers and went on our merrrrry way!

Pasadena really is beautiful!

My sweet apple cider-y drink and Rosalie's amber ale with hints of fruit. Yum!

Lake:
Conrad's. I have seen this spot on the regular my hole life and never stopped to go inside - but that's what seeing a city on foot/pub transit is for!
On the whole I'd call it a non-chain Denny's (well I dont think it a chain at least...) but a pleasant experience. Except for the creepy old man who sat next to me and gruffly made me move my bag at the bar. Mind you there were 7 empty seats around us...

My vodka soda and Rosalie's makers manhattan (the total bill was $11.75 - not bad for southern California!)

My artsy pic of the outside logo.

I love cruising by traffic on foot... On our way back to the metro!

Allen:
So it's still a sip of Pasadena but we have failed on a second adult beverage... At Allen we found a very cute coffee shop called Jameson Brown. From the outside it looked like a bank but inside a college study hang out!

Allen stop in the middle of the freeway.

The bank-like looming entrance.

The sweet lil interior.

And so it begins...

Sierra Madre Villa stop:
My mom took us to Panda Inn (the original) and we started out easy - a glass of wine for me and a beer for Rosalie. My mom got a stiff drink but she doesnt have as much ahead of her so no big.

The bar at panda.

Cheers!

A very strange fortune- "the riches of others makes you more valuable". Hmmm....

Rosalie an Emily Sip Pasadena

So I haven't logged in ages but today is totally blog worthy! My friend Rosalie and I are going to hop on and off the gold line in Pasadena at every stop (there are 7 of them) and find the closest watering hole!
Rosalie is a social media queen so suggested we both live blog along the way! Stay tuned!
